Philson Victor

B.A. in Criminology, John Jay College; M.A. in Secondary Education, East Stroudsburg University. Before moving to the United States to pursue a career as an educator, Philson worked as a police officer in his home-country—Dominica. His background working in criminal justice led him to study criminology at John Jay College and a student of government at University of Ghana as a Fulbright scholar before becoming a high school teacher at the Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice. Currently, Philson teaches at The Eagle Academy for Young Men in the Bronx, which he helped to co-found.
