Tanasha Franklin

B.A. in Public Relations from Alabama State University; Certificate in Elementary Education (P-5) from Agnes Scott College. She began her career in education teaching kindergarten and currently teaches first grade at E. Rivers Elementary in Atlanta, GA. Tanasha is a 2003 Teach for America alum and has served as a Learning Team leader, Curriculum Specialist, and Resource Room Specialist for Atlanta's Summer Institute. She taught English for 1 year with the Japanese Exchange and Teaching (JET Program) serving elementary and middle school students in Miyazaki, Japan. Tanasha aspires to lead and enhance core partnerships in education by strengthening awareness and collaboration within professional learning communities.
