Tawana Smoke

B.S. in Elementary Education, Temple University; M.S. in Technology in Education, Chestnut Hill College. Tawana comes to Teachers College with extensive experience in education in a leadership capacity. Before assuming her position as lead teacher to The School at Columbia University, she was lead teacher to The University of Pennsylvania Partnership School. During her that time she also worked as a site monitor for YET (Youth Education for Tomorrow) where she trained teachers and coordinators to run the after school program.
