Welcome to the Office of Enrollment and Student Services
The Office of Access and Services for Individuals with Disabilities (OASID) ensures that programs and services at Teachers College are accessible to individuals with disabilities through individualized responses to those in need of accommodations.
The Admissions Office provides information regarding the application process, programs of study, and services available to students. As a student's first contact with TC, the Admissions Office has a wealth of information and resources to help direct students on their path at TC.
The Manager of Student Relations in the OESS meets with students to discuss questions and address concerns related to the student experience at TC.
Teachers College Career Services (TCCS) guides TC students and alumni through different phases of their career development path. TCCS is aimed at helping students identify and develop the skills and resources needed to achieve their career goals.
Computer Applications is responsible for working with the OESS departments to empower them to do their jobs more thoroughly, efficiently, and knowledgeably. The Computer Applications Specialist is constantly providing areas with functional tools to assist with data, process, and communication management.
The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) handles all financial matters pertaining to TC students. Common issues include applying for and receiving federal aid, applying for federal Stafford/alterntive personal/private loans, eligibility for work study, and disbursement of scholarship money. The OFA uses a step-by-step process to assist students with how to fund their education at TC.
The Office of International Services (OIS) provides immigration-related services, advice and assistance; orientation and intellectual programs; information on responsibilities, benefits and options under immigration laws and regulations; employment authorization processing; and counseling on personal, financial, cultural, academic and other concerns.
The Marketing Department works closely with Admissions, the OESS, and academic departments to develop strategies used to recruit a large pool of prospective students until they enroll at TC.
The Office of the Registrar assists students in registering for classes at TC, recording grades, and monitoring the progress of students as they work toward graduation. Specifically, the Registrar handles the academic calendar, schedule of classes, academic forms, and student information needed to access email and the Student Information System.
The Office of Doctoral Studies (ODS) serves as a resource for all doctoral students. ODS handles degree and certificate requirements as well as the forms needed for a student to successfully complete their doctoral degree.
The Office of Student Activities and Programs (OSAP) provides opportunities that promote student engagement, celebrate diversity, and enhance student development. OSAP includes four major areas: Student Activities, Insurance and Immunization Records, the Graduate Writing Center, and the Aquatic Center.
