With the support of the Global Education and Leadership Foundation,Teachers College developed and evaluated a leadership curriculum for students at a network of junior high schools and secondary schools in India. This curriculum is based on values that have been identified in India, and it targets students who intend to go into the public sector. The team designed an assessment system to help our partners select promising leaders and evaluate pilot programs for four schools. The program, which continues, develops skills, promotes positive attitudes, encourages solid values, and fosters leadership potential.
