THE TRANSITION from high school to college and careers for disadvantaged students is a focal point at the Community College Research Center (CCRC).

Staff advise the New York City Office of Career and Technical Education on program and policy development, administration, and evaluation. The center was also recently awarded a three-year grant of $4.4 million to manage a new career and technical education dual enrollment initiative that will strengthen college and career pathways for low-income, academically-struggling and underrepresented students in California.
