ADOLESCENT responses to visual culture are under scrutiny in new research conducted by the Center for Arts Education Research (CAER).

Researchers for the Lending One’s Life to Art project have already collected data from 100 seventh graders in an attempt to understand how media and fine art influence adolescents’ own image making.

The Center has recently established a consortium of experienced doctoral students, researchers and practicing teachers to respond to requests by schools for professional development, curriculum writing and new programs in the arts.
