Feedback

"I can't tell you how proud I felt when I saw the concert.   I have two special needs children at home and I do know first hand what certain challenges life entails for myself and my children. To see Liyana perform made me feel like 'Yes,this is what life is about!'  When I went back to school, I had a discussion with my class on what they felt about the concert, and their response was 'THEY WERE AMAZING!'  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to see first hand what life really is about."
Ms. Cohn, teacher, Corpus Christi

Activities

A team of Teachers College Faculty members are in the process of developing lesson plans and project ideas on Liyana and the related themes of music, arts, culture, disability and Africa. We will be adding to the list of resources above during the next few days and weeks, so please keep checking back. Meanwhile, feel free write to us with any ideas you would like to see included.
