Biography: Russell Rosen received his B.A. in anthropology at the University of Chicago and Ph.D. in education from Columbia University. Publications and research interests are in the anthropology and history of deaf people and their community and culture, psycholinguistics and applied linguistics of American Sign Language, and second language acquisition, instruction, curriculum, and assessment.
