AmeriCorps • Eligibility
The SPA and the Peace Corps Fellows Program are two separate programs
with separate training and courses, but they share the same overarching
goal: to bring qualified and competent individuals to lead and teach
in under-resourced, under-privileged schools in New York City and
across the nation. Both programs enroll eligible members into an AmeriCorps term of service. Enrollment in the Teachers College, Columbia University AmeriCorps Professional Corps program is contingent upon these eligibility requirements:

- Have
not served in AmeriCorps for more than one (1) term (regardless of receiving a financial award or not).
- Provide proof of US Citizenship, permanent residency status, or a green card.
- As
a continuing AmeriCorps Fellow (2nd Year PCF members), delinquent forms
from the previous year may prevent a second enrollment.
