Application Process


You will be submitting two separate applications: the Teachers College online application and the Peace Corps Fellows supplementary application. We strongly encourage all candidates to submit both applications electronically.

NOTE: The PCFP supplementary application includes an interview. Prior to initiating a PCFP supplementary application or scheduling an interview, please provide us with your resume (required) and unofficial transcript(s) (strongly recommended) so that we can help pre-determine your eligibility for the Fellowship. These may be emailed to us at pcfellows@tc.edu.

A completed Teachers College application (online*) includes:
  • Application Form
  • Non-refundable Application Fee ($65)
  • Personal Statement
  • Official Transcript(s)
  • Letters of Recommendation (2)
  • Resume
  • Additional materials needed by academic department
  • Please Note: The GRE requirement is waived for Peace Corps Fellows Program applicants. You may include GRE scores in the application, but they are not required.
*We highly recommend submitting your application online.  Should you need to send in a paper application, please note the Application Fee will be $100.


Peace Corps Fellows Program Admissions

Final Deadline: January 15, 2013
(All applications must be either postmarked or emailed on or before the deadline to which you are applying.)

A completed PCFP supplementary application includes:
  • Peace Corps Description of Service (official, signed DOS)
  • Peace Corps Fellows Applicant Information Form (via email or regular mail)
  • Peace Corps Fellows Essays (via email or regular mail)
  • Interview with Peace Corps Fellows staff and school site visit (call to schedule)*
  • Copy of resume and unofficial transcript(s)**
* For more information on conducting interviews, program visits, and school site visits, click here. School site visits are not mandatory, but are strongly recommended.

Peace Corps Fellows Supplementary Application

Please click "Request Application" button below to submit a brief survey which will route you to the 2013 Peace Corps Fellows supplementary application. The form is a Word document that can be downloaded, completed, and emailed back to us via pcfellows@tc.edu or faxed to 212-678-3153. Be sure to attach extra sheets (in the form of an additional Word document) as necessary.

  • Complete the Scholarship Application Form!
