Applicants • Application Process
Eligibility
Eligibility is dependent on acceptance to Teachers College, successful completion of Peace Corps Volunteer Service (not necessarily in teaching), strong commitment to teaching in the demanding urban environment of New York City, completion of Teachers College application, and completion of the Peace Corps Fellows Program supplementary application (which includes an official Peace Corps Description of Service containing your COS date). In addition, some academic programs have their own special admissions requirements such as minimum undergraduate credits in particular subject areas, extra letters of recommendations, writing samples, etc.
Application Process
You will be submitting two separate applications: the Teachers College online application and the Peace Corps Fellows supplementary application. We
strongly encourage all candidates to submit both applications electronically, but if you are unable to do so, please send all of your
paper application materials directly to the Peace Corps Fellows Program.
