
This new grant awards up to $2500 too implement a comprehensive service-learning project. Grantees will be asked to document their project with photo and/or video, and participate in a panel on service-learning in the Spring. Current fellows and alumni are eligible to apply.
The Mini-Grant is the most flexible of the grants and allows fellows to explore various
aspects of service-learning, such as youth voice, project-based
learning, or establishing community partnerships as educational
resources. We will consider requests up to $800 dollars on a case by case basis. Note that this is different from the fixed $500 amount awarded in the past. Previous experience with service-learning is not required for this grant.

The Mentorship and Professional Development Grant,
designed for alumni of the program, requires the grantee to be a
service-learning mentor for a second-year Fellow who is required to
implement a project. The grantee will be expected to attend the
National Service-Learning Conference in March and will be awarded $1000
to cover expenses. This conference is an invaluable opportunity to
develop professional expertise, tap into service-learning networks, and
be a part of the national service-learning movement. Prior
experience with service-learning is required for this grant.
