Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Service-Learning Grants 2016-2017

The Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Peace Corps Fellows Program Service-Learning Grants are available to all current Peace Corp Fellows registered as Teachers College students and currently teaching in New York City public schools, as well as to all Peace Corps Fellow Alumni currently working in New York City public schools. This year, the Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Service-Learning Grants will provide funding for the following endeavors:

  • Service-Learning/Classroom Projects

Grants are available to fund professional development activities that help to cultivate a more critical, innovative and skilled teaching force that is both adequately prepared to face the challenges of teaching in urban schools and capable of harnessing the many talents and experiences that students bring with them to the classroom. Funding for travel to a professional development activity will be considered.
