Welcome to the 2016 International Pre-Graduate Program (IPGP) website
We are delighted that you are reviewing the opportunities that our 2016 International Pre-Graduate Program (IPGP) can offer you. We believe that our program is unique and will help any international student better prepare him- or herself for the rigors of graduate study in the United States.
We will welcome our second cohort in July 2016 to New York City for an experience of a lifetime. Participants will study and may live at Teachers College, the largest and most comprehensive graduate school of education in the United States. Students who enroll in the program will have non-credit offerings in the mornings, which will help you to become a successful graduate student. These interacting and experiencing courses will include content in academic reading, academic speaking, and academic writing - as well as courses on academic cultural competence and advice from experts regarding the graduate admission process.
Living and learning in New York City is an integral part of our program. We use our surroundings and the entire New York City metropolitan area as a learning laboratory. We expect our IPGP participants to supplement their learning and to take full advantage of all that Teachers College and New York City has to offer. We will provide social, cultural, and educational offerings throughout the 3-week program.
Please check our list of scheduled events to participate. If you are interested in this program, please contact Dr. Ya-Ning Hsu at Hsu2@tc.edu or submit an inquiry(Click Here).
