Open Rank Professor, Speech and Language Pathology

Speech and Language Pathology

The Program in Speech and Language Pathology at Teachers College, Columbia University, is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach graduate courses, supervise graduate student research, and conduct a focused program of research.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an earned a doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders and present evidence of excellence in research accomplishments and university teaching. Area of specialization is open, but preference will be given to candidates whose research areas complement those of our current faculty's. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate the ability to support a research program through external funding and to teach graduate courses in speech and language pathology. Clinical certification is a plus. 

Responsibilities: Teach graduate courses in speech and language pathology, conduct and supervise research in areas of interest and expertise, advise master's and doctoral students, and provide service to the Department and College. 

Rank:  Associate or Full Professor level with the possibility of tenure at the time of appointment
