Registration

Individuals participating in the School Law Institute for 2018 have three different registration options:

Option 1: Taking the School Law Institute for Three (3) TC Graduate Credits

  • Current and incoming TC students: If you are a current or an incoming TC student for 2018-2019, you may register to take the School Law Institute for three graduate credits. The tuition cost, at $1,572 per credit, will be $4,716 total. The required course packet will cost roughly $150 in addition.

If you wish to register for three credits, please visit the Teachers College online registration site, using course number EDPA 5880A. If you’re an incoming student, we recommend that you consult your academic adviser about registering.

Note: Incoming TC students: You may take the Institute for graduate credit, but you may not apply your TC financial aid awards until the fall 2018 semester. Please visit: Teachers College online registration site.

  •  If you are not a TC student, you are nonetheless eligible to register to take the School Law Institute for three (3) TC graduate credits. You will need to complete a short (1 page) admissions form and submit a $65 application fee in addition to the costs of tuition and the course packet (see above). To apply, please click here.

Option 2: Taking the School Law Institute on a Non-Credit Basis

  • Anyone interested in taking the School Law Institute on a non-credit basis may do so at a registration cost of $1,500.

Whether or not you are affiliated with Teachers College, if you are interested in the School Law Institute on a non-credit basis, you will need to visit the Continuing Professional Study page. You will be directed to a short form and will be prompted to submit payment covering the cost of the course ($1,500).
