City Year Scholarship

City Year, an education-focused nonprofit organization operating in more than 20 U.S. cities, has established a "give a year" partnership (City Year Scholarship) with Teachers College (TC). The partnership highlights the visions and values of both organizations integrating the power of knowledge and service in addressing social problems. Each participant will be eligible to receive a scholarship from Teachers College. The award will be a one-time award in the amount equal to approximately 25% of tuition charges (for up to three City Year corps, alumni, or staff members per year). Funds permitting, TC will allow the students to defer enrollment by one year if they decide to stay with City Year for additional time before beginning their studies. The City Year Scholarship Interest Form must be submitted to by February 15th, 2014.

Please note: students must successfully complete and submit their application for admission to Teachers College before they may apply for the City Year Scholarship.
