Academic Resources

Academic Calendar 2008-2009: Find the most up to date information regarding university deadlines, timelines and holidays.
 
Schedule of Classes Search: Ability to search all of TC's available courses by semester, professor and time of day.
 
Student Information System: Here you can register for courses, view grades, make payments or check on financial aid awards. You must have your TC ID number and password.
 
College Ombudsman: The College Ombudsman is a resource available to students for resolving problems and conflicts.
 
Health/Well-Being Resources
 
Student Insurance: The Office of Immunization and Insurance can provide you with the general information and administrative support  for the University Health Service Program and Columbia Student Medical Insurance Plans.
 
Columbia Health Services: Provides information regarding services for physical, mental and emotional health for those with student insurance. Here you can make appointments, utlize the Ask Alice! application, get tips on healthy lifestyle choices and much more.
 

Clinical Graduate Assistant: The Clinical GA is available to any student experiencing personal, psychological, or academic distress that is interfering with her/his well being. The Director of Student Relations works closely with the College’s Clinical Graduate Assistant and is able to provide confidential referrals for free short-term consultation to any student in need (regardless of whether the student has paid the Health Services Fee or has University Health Insurance).The Clinical GA can also be reached directly through the Dean Hope Center for Educational and Psychological Services at (212) 678-3262. 

 
Student Life Resources
 
Office of Student Activities and Programs: This office can provide information about student organizations, activities around TC, the Graduate Writing Center and more!
 
Office of the Vice President for Diversity and Community Affairs: The Office for Diversity and Community leads the President's and College's initiatives concerning community, diversity, civility, equity, and anti-discrimination. 
 

Columbia University- United Campus Ministries: An umbrella organization comprised of clergy of different faith traditions and lay people, the UCM serves the needs of the diverse religious communities at Columbia University. In addition to traditional religious ceremonies, services and pastoral counseling, the ministries offer a wide assortment of lectures, outreach projects and discussion groups.

Community Impact: A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located at Columbia University. Community Impact (CI) serves disadvantaged people in the Harlem, Washington Heights, and Morningside Heights communities. Community Impact strives to provide high quality programs, advance the public good, and foster meaningful volunteer opportunities for students, faculty, and staff of Columbia University.
