Annual Fund Scholars

The Annual Fund Scholars Program is a wonderful opportunity for TC Fund donors to establish a one-year term scholarship to a student with demonstrated need.  Making Teachers College the first choice for the most talented and promising master’s and doctoral students demands a significant investment in financial aid.  Participation in the Annual Fund Scholars program enables TC Fund donors to support our students today so that they may become the leaders of tomorrow who will contribute to the education, prosperity and well-being of individuals and communities throughout the world.

Starting in our 125th Anniversary year, and extended as part of Where the Future Comes First: The Campaign for Teachers College, TC’s Board of Trustees will match, dollar-for-dollar, any gift of $2500 designated to financial aid, providing a $5,000 annual fund scholarship.  You will receive a scholar named in your honor for the academic year. There will be opportunities to meet your scholar and hear from them directly about the work that you are supporting.  In addition, the TC Fund will be pleased to recognize you at the Scholar’s Circle level of the John Dewey Circle.

Below is a growing list of our Annual Fund scholars who were named in honor of Dewey Circle donors--members chose to increase their gifts this year to take advantage of this opportunity and support TC’s greatest financial priority. We hope these students will inspire and encourage you to help support some of the brightest minds who are preparing to positively impact education, health, psychology and leadership in years to come.

For more information on how you can help us grow the Annual Fund Scholars Program, please contact Susan Scherman, Director of the TC Fund & Leadership Gifts at 212-678-8176.
