Persons encountered in transit

In the course of my 13,000 mile trip, I encountered many people I had never before seen, and would likely never see again. Most I had no time or opportunity to draw, but these are the few I did draw. When I travel, I always draw a selection of those encountered, just to represent the rich, anonymous fabric of humans we all live amidst and who, though we never know them, somehow help to define our world. Some, like the Lan Chile steward or the El Gaucho waiter or any of the several car drivers were encountered because their occupation is serving those in transit; others were just travellers, like me.
