Neuquen to Cordoba

Southern Winds Flight 6621 departed Neuquen 2 December at 19.30pm, flew to Mendoza about 400 miles to the north, there discharging most passengers and picking up a few new ones, then flew off to Cordoba, arriving there at around 22.00 pm. I drew Enrique in flight, using most of the flight time to chastise myself for not inquiring about the redundant itinerary the Neuquen travel agent had selected for the flight. Because the authorities were responsible for my travel, I left it to them, and shouldn't have. What they booked turned out to be the most unnecessarily tiring leg of the whole RIBIE trip. Mendoza is only about 100 miles from Santiago, right over the mountains, yet the agent hadn't booked me to change in that city to a plane flying west to Santiago. No, instead, he had booked me to continue on the plane I was already on, 300 miles further north and east to Cordoba, to spend a night there
