Robert P. Taylor's SeeRIBIE: Personal Reflections on a Professional Trip

Though not a flight, this 70 mile, hour plus drive was the part of my journey nearest to RIBIE 2000 and the two tunnels and some very scenic sights made it quite interesting. Arriving at the airport on December 3, I, like several other speakers and participants coming from afar were met by hardworking RIBIE staff, and once everyone expected had arrived, we "took off" for Vina del Mar in a van "piloted" by Antonio. After RIBIE ended, I was brought back to Santiago Airport by another driver to wait with unknown fellow pasengers for my flight back to New York.
