These two drawings present two of the presenters in the opening (9 am) session in the large lecture hall, immediately following Don Evans opening presentation (inset left) about integral inter-university cooperation in Arizona between the three major state universities. Apart from all the complex organizational details she discussed, Mary had some humorous insights into the differences that imerge in making material appropriate for learners, quipping (more or less) that Piaget got it wrong and Flat Stanley got it right. Jaques presented some interesting outlines of efforts to develop Pan European collaboration among universities to produce and regularly offer university programs to capitalize on digitally offered learning to overcome the geographical, political, and cultural divides in today's Europe.
