Robert P. Taylor's Flowery: a webbery of flower images 

Above are three images of yellow Irises, the pencil on yellow paper done on13 June 1997, the watercolor on green poster board done 16 June, and the cutout from yellow construction paper made a week later. Either the drawn or painted image may have had the same subject as the cutout, but no notes to that effect survive and the shapes are not similar enough to be certain either way. By contrast, I did a purple Iris cutout (inset left) that did share its Iris subject with a painting (inset right).
