North Maiden   South Maiden   West Maiden

Multi-maid     All

Above are the titles of the five concurrent exhibits of the Fountain drawings, each linked to the thumbnail-exhibit whose focus is suggested by that title. In each case, the thumbnail-indexed exhibit is on another page, where thumbnails of all the drawings in that exhibit are displayed. On each such thumbnail-exhibit page, some comment on that particular exhibit is presented, and each thumbnail it displays is linked to a page where a six inch high version of the drawing it represents is presented and discussed. South Maiden , West Maiden, and North Maiden each covers all images of the particular maid named. (For the maiden naming convention, see South, West, North labelling, below.) Multi-maid presents the site's few images of more than a single maiden. All presents 19 thumbnails, each representing a different one of the 19 drawings represented in the Fountain. Beyond that on maiden labelling, the links below cover related background and rationale for the site, including some obsrevations on the unique role of digitization in drawing and in displaying drawing.
