Robert P. Taylor's : Fountain: Reflections of 3 Dancing Maidens

Revising, presenting, and explaining digitized drawings

Preserving intermediate versions of a drawing being modified

Each image above is a modified version of an earlier digitized version of a specific drawing of one of the maidens, a modificaton so seamlessly done that one can no longer deduce the appearance of the earlier version of the detail, or even which detail might have been modified. Each is linked to set of two or more intermediate versions of a specific drawing of one of the maidens, reflecting the process of that drawing's development. Each therefore illustrates how the computer can been employed as an archivist, capturing and preserving intermediate versions of a drawing, making them instantly resurrectible when needed. Additional examples of such use of the computer can be examined in another site, SeeAnew (see Related Taylor webberies below).
