This drawing was generated as the first in a series to send to my two-and-half year old grandson to see if he could identify the subject. While visiting me one day, I had made some drawings with him and he seemed to enjoy the process, so I thought this might be fun for him. When I got around to sending it, I heard by telephone that he did identify it correctly.I got very enthusiastic and did another (inset top) and sent it to him. However, when he received that one, his mother called me immediately to report failure - he insisted it was "an Owl" she said, and nothing would disuade him of his certainty. Well, I gave up for a while, then did a couple more (insets bottom), though I haven't sent them to him yet..... The first partial face drawing I did (inset bottom) was just for my own exercise, so maybe I should stop trying to make indentification puzzles out of them.
