This drawing was generated as one in a series to send to my two-and-half year old grandson to see if he could identify the subject. The first was an eye and context (inset top), and when I got around to sending it, I heard by telephone that he did identify it correctly.However, when he received this one (right), he insisted it was "an Owl", and nothing his mother could do disuaded him of his certainty. I have trouble spotting the owlish shape in this drawing, but who knows what connection caused him to lock in on that identity? The first partial face drawing I did (inset bottom) was just for my own exercise, so maybe I should stop trying to make indentification puzzles out of them.
