This drawing was done at 9:40 pm in .9mm pencil on smooth white xerox paper. The face was 13 cm high. It is not shaded but contours are suggested by single lines. In that sense, it is interesting to compare it with another recent front view that is also pencil but was shaded (inset top left). In contouring, it is stylistically related to the abstract felt pen drawing on orange paper drawn the night before (inset top right),
and to the ball pen drawings a few days earlier (insets bottom).
