This drawing was done in black ink with a fine point marker at 9:55 pm on white sketch pad paper. The visible portion of the head was 7cm high. Two other drawings were made with the same pen just before this, one a profile (inset top left), the other a three quarter view (inset center). All three are somewhat abstract compared to a fourth (inset top right), in pencil, also made that night. An earlier profile with the same pen was done in more of an outline style (inset bottom left). This is only a partial face, so it could alsobe compared to any of the "fragments" (inset bottom center). It also can be compared interestingly to the abstract profiles (inset bottom right).
