Here are four drawings of Maillol's Summer, in the order in which they were drawn. The second sketch is of an armless plaster version which appeared at MOMA's People exhibition, right next to Springtime. The other sketches are all of the Met's bronze version. Both works were the same size and design, the plaster being a model for the bronze.
