Though these drawings were made several years apart, the two pairs of subjects were sitting in exactly the same spot and doing much the same thing, albeit, each in his own way - namely, waiting to sing again. The pair on the left are tenors Hal Beasley and Clayton Funk. The pair on the right are basses Michael Neal and Gerald Otte.
