Four Basses Waiting -Riverside Church - 13 May 2001

As this was drawn during the 13 May 2001 service, these basses may have been considering the Apostle Paul's journeys - the announced focus of the sermon about to begin. On the other hand, they may have been thinking about the next piece we would sing, or the next concert we would be giving. Seated behind them, there was no way I could tell. It was as enigmatic an ensemble as the "Three Wise Men" (inset), an ensemble I had drawn earlier, including two of these very basses - Matt and Brad.
