Jennifer joined Riverside Choir in September of 1998 when she began her Masters Degree at Manhattan School of Music and left in May or June of 2000, after she had completed the degree. It is quite common any year to have one or more MSM students in the choir, and they typically continue for two years, while they work on degrees. A few stay on afterward; but most, like Jennifer, don't. Jennifer was a good subject, whether she was singing of waiting, so drawing her was interesting. Moreover, by the whim of choir seating arrangements during her two year stint, she was often positioned near enough for me to draw her. Above is the result, in (more or less) chronological order. It begins (leftmost image) with her arrival, and ends (rightmost image) with a required recital in her final term of studies.
