This drawing was done on free space at the bottom of a xeroxed copy of Angels from the Realms of Glory which the choir sings alone, to begin the Annual Christmas Candlelight Service, a service performed at 4pm and again at 6:30pm, on a Sunday before Christmas Eve. The choir processes part way up the side aisle of the nave, turns to face the congregation seated before them, and in near darkness sings this familiar carol. Juan's remark sprang from the conductor having chastised us for not having sung out clearly enough in the first of the two services. Seeing the music is tough in the dark.....
