David Orcutt and Brad Wilson - Southland to the New World concert

These two drawings were both made during Riverside's 22 October 2000 concert, From the Southland to the New World. Done on a sheet from one of my plain white sketch pads, The left image of Brad was executed as we awaited our entry cue backstage before the concert began. The other drawing is of David Orcutt, as he watched and listened to Joseph Joubert play Burleigh (see link below), on a piano down on the orchestra platform just a few feet away from Dave's choir stall seat. This was drawn directly on the bulletin, and two of the instrumentalists listed there are represented by drawings elsewhere in this website: Rick Herrick and David Grabois .
