This drawing of Tim on the title page of Mark's Before too long was done on November 19, 2000 as we waited to begin reading through it for the first time. The delay went on for several minutes so I continued to refine the drawing. Later, on the computer, I added a bit of color and definition to his coat and to the piano. What I like about this drawing is that the juxtaposition of Tim's head and the printed announcement of Mark's ownership make it look like Tim is having second thoughts about playing it.
