Mark Johanssen, trombone and Bob Haley, trumpet - on bulletin - Easter 2000

These two drawings were made on the Easter service bulletin, the trumpeter (right) during rehearsal and the trombonist (left) during the service itself, 22 amd 23 April 2000, respectively. The drawing of Mark, the trombonist, was done while we sang the third verse of "Hymns of Praise", in a period of something less than a minute. This is challenging, like the "Doxology" drawings I've done of a few singing colleagues - one must work very swiftly, and aim for the main impression because there is little time for detail.
