The Teaching Residents program works closely with a selected group of collaborating schools within the New York City Department of Education. Our partnering schools provide placements for Teacher Residents, alternative site visits and provide support for the TR@TC program. Our schools have been recognized based on their leadership capacities and positive environments for beginning teachers. Collaborating schools must meet the high-need identification as mandated through the federal grant.
