Suzanne Pratt

Program Manager

Suzanne Pratt has been working with the Teaching Residents at Teachers College program since 2011. In this time, she has held multiple positions including Residency Supervisor, Induction Mentor, Induction Coordinator, and Graduate Assistant. In addition to her work with the program, Suzanne is also completing her doctoral studies at Teachers College.

Andrew  Ahn

Andrew Ahn

Induction Coordinator

Andrew Ahn is the Induction Coordinator for TR@TC2. He earned his B.A. in African American Studies at Wesleyan University, his M.S. in Urban Education at Mercy College, and an M.A. in Language & Literacy at The City College of New York. Prior to joining TR@TC, Andrew spent 10 years as a high school special education and ELA teacher in New York City.

Tracy  Cook-Person

Tracy Cook-Person

Instr. of Pedagogy & Clinical Practice

Tracy Cook-Person is the Instructor of Pedagogy & Clinical Practice. She is a doctoral student in Urban Ed. at the Graduate Center at City University of NY and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay as well as a masters degree in Secondary Education from Pace. Tracy was a teacher with the DOE from 2003-14 and is the creator of the STEM based Teen Innovators.

Colleen  Horn

Colleen Horn

Partnership Coordinator

Colleen Horn is the Partnership Coordinator for TR@TC2. She taught in classrooms for more than twelve years, working with students with disabilities and newcomer students. She also worked as a staff developer and graduate level instructor. Colleen received her MA from Roehampton University, London and her Ed. D from Trinity College, Dublin. 

Kelsey  Darity

Kelsey Darity

Graduate Assistant

Kelsey Darity is a Graduate Assistant for TR@TC2. She is also a doctoral student and course instructor in the dept. of Curriculum and Teaching. Her research interests include disciplinary literacy and the hauntings of historical violence. Kelsey received an M.A.T. in Middle Grades Education and a B.S. in Marketing from Clemson University.

Caitlin  Thomas

Caitlin Thomas

Program Assistant

Caitlin Thomas is a Program Assistant for TR@TC2. She is an MA student in the International and Comparative Ed. program. She completed her undergrad at Virginia Tech. Afterwards, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia, teaching ESL to middle and high school students. Upon returning, she worked for Peace Corps in Wash., DC.

Laura  Vernikoff

Laura Vernikoff

Research Assistant

Laura Vernikoff is a Research Assistant for TR@TC2 and a doctoral candidate in the dept. of Curriculum and Teaching. She has received an M.Ed. in Language and Literacy Education from the Pennsylvania State, and a B.A. Johns Hopkins. Prior to starting her doctoral program, she worked as a special education teacher in New York City.
