Dr. Michelle Troche presented at the International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders (MDS) in Berlin this past June. MDS is a professional society of clinicians, scientists, and other healthcare professionals interested in Parkinson’s disease, related neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders, hyperkinetic movement disorders, and abnormalities in muscle tone and motor control. The conference hosted 5,500 people, with 86 countries represented. The Society aims to advance the neurological sciences pertaining to Movement Disorders, to improve the diagnosis and treatment of patients, to encourage research, to provide forums, and to collaborate with other related professional and lay organizations. In addition to presenting the UAD’s work, while in Berlin, Dr. Troche was able to meet and spend time with international colleagues and friends of the UAD.
