This is the annual Conference course sponsored by the Center for Opportunities and Outcomes for People with Disabilities of the Health and Behavior Studies Department at Teachers College, Columbia University.  The O&O Conference theme continues with: When Worlds Collide: Ongoing Challenges of Special Education in 2012.  It features researchers, practitioners, policy makers and visionaries from around the country who are seeking greater support and services for individuals with disabilities globally.  

Participants attending include graduate students involved in the online Conference course along with faculty, professionals from the greater NYC community and others interested in contemporary themes in special education.

The Conference also features the Leonard and Frances Blackman Lecture.  Additional special events are scheduled throughout the week.

There is no charge this year to attend the Conference, but REGISTRATION / RSVP IS REQUIRED.
