Fanshen Cox is the creator of the one-woman show One Drop of Love, which explores the intersections of race, class and gender in pursuit of truth, justice and love. In a continuing effort to spark courageous and necessary conversations, Cox facilitates interactive and goal-oriented workshops on diversity, equity and inclusion that explore the use of narrative in empathy-building; how historical context informs our current identities; and how the construction of race affects our closest relationships. Sealey-Ruiz has championed a process she calls "Archeology of the Self" -- the exploration of how race and bias live within ourselves. She is the founder and faculty sponsor of the Racial Literacy Roundtables Series and also co-founder of the Teachers College Civic Participation Project.
