BERC partnered with brilliant corners to conduct an opinion poll capturing Black community perspectives on public education in New York City and plans to incorporate Black studies into public schools.

By mapping the available public NYC school datasets to the NASEM 16 equity indicators, this project assessed to what extent the indicators may be addressed using available public data from the largest school district in the US.
