The mission of the Cahn Fellows Program at Teacher College, Columbia University is to strengthen public schools by recognizing outstanding principals and aspiring principals and developing their capacity as leaders.
The Cahn Fellows Program is seeking a detail-oriented professional to serve as its part-time Program Coordinator.
The Program Coordinator carries out core administrative functions for the office and takes on special project activities at the direction of the National and Program Directors. Administrative tasks include: Accounts Payable and receivable management and processing.
Special Project tasks include: Project coordination, budget management (e.g., assist in the maintenance of the budget. Special event/conference coordination, (e.g., outreach and mail-List management; processing of room assignment requests; catering orders; media services; outside vendor agreements.
Manages expense reports and in general ensures all appropriate fiscal documentation is submitted and reports are filed with the TC finance office.
The Program Coordinator will also manage staff reimbursements, contract and vendor management, grant tracking, office purchasing, and the department charge card.
