CIS provides a diverse range of campus technology support to faculty for teaching, learning and research. Our technology support staff strives to quickly, courteously, and effectively meet your technology needs.
The Service Desk is your first point of contact for technical support for campus information technology services such as:
PC and Mac Problems (Desktops and laptops must have a TC tag in order to be serviced by the Service Desk--The tag will say "Property of Teachers College”)
Setting up hardware or software for the first time
Campus network, Internet and phone connections
College Internet accounts and passwords
For assistance, drop by Grace Dodge 70, call 212-678-3300, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or click the red Service Desk icon on the TC Portal.
Need more in-depth help?
We also offer consultation services. If you would like one-on-one assistance with instructional technology, our skilled Academic Tech Fellows are available to work with you in person. You can visit Macy 345 during our drop-in hours of Monday - Thursday, 1 – 4 P.M., or email email@example.com to schedule an appointment.
Long-term project assistance
If you have more in-depth needs related to technology for teaching or research, our Academic Technology senior staff is available to collaborate with you on projects such as redesigning your course or reviewing emerging technologies. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
