LEARN BY DOING

Our students are scholars and practitioners. In the lab, the classroom, and the community, our students see their education come to life. At TC, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of your discipline as you participate in and undertake your own research – so you’ll enter the field ready to pass along that knowledge. The possibilities to follow your passions are endless. Currently, our faculty and students are creating visual multilingual texts and holding brain health fairs in nearby Washington Heights, studying gun violence prevention nationwide, and using instructional technology to teach children to reconnect with nature.

BUILD A BETTER WORLD

Social justice is at the core of what we do, and has been a principle that's driven us since TC's founding. And we are still evolving. Here, you’ll find a community of students and faculty committed to creating a better world, even when it’s hard. With attention to the long legacies of inequity in academia, the TC community interrogates existing scholarship and emphasizes growth. Students and faculty question their basic assumptions at TC, with a shared mission of creating change together.
