Rooted in our classic technique, Pure Barre is the fastest, most effective full-body barre workout.  You'll be guided through a series of low-impact, high intensity movements that are designed to strengthen and tone your body in ways that no other technique can with Ali Barclay (M.A. '18). For this 45 minute class, you will need a support (a chair, countertop, or wall work great!).

Optional equipment includes: a set of hand weights (2 or 3lbs - you can always use water bottles or cans), a mat, a barre (a wall, chair, counter/bar) and a ball (a rolled up towel or stuffed animal also works well).

Date: Wednesday, July 28
Time: 1:00 p.m. ET
Register here.

Ali Barclay fell in love with Pure Barre when she took her first class in 2014.  As a former dancer, she was instantly drawn to the high energy, great music, and positive motivation. She has been teaching Pure Barre in Brooklyn since 2015 and currently works as the Scheduling Coordinator for the Pure Barre Metro studios.  Ali is the mom of two girls and taught and took Pure Barre throughout both pregnancies and recoveries.  She received her MA in the Teaching of English from Teachers College in 2018 and is currently an English teacher at Millennium Brooklyn High School.
