Title: Co-Teaching in a Gifted Kindergarten Classroom

Description:

Allie's dissertation is investigating co-teacher interaction in one kindergarten classroom in a gifted school in the northeastern U.S. She aims to uncover the interactional practices that teachers engage in to accomplish co-teaching in classrooms with gifted students, and to understand how these practices may facilitate the promotion of student learning and engagement. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a line-by-line analysis of the data with the aid of a transcript and video clip.
