Sexual Violence Response Workshop for New Students

We wanted to follow-up with you to make you aware of an important workshop the College is providing to new students. As you may recall, during orientation, Janice Robinson, TC’s Title IX Coordinator, introduced herself and her role in assisting students who may experience gender-based misconduct. She also introduced two partner offices, Gender Based Misconduct and Sexual Violence Response (SVR). While both offices briefly discussed these issues, we know that some new students may have more questions and interest in this area. Therefore, we’d like to offer you the opportunity to attend a workshop on Sexual Violence Response. This interactive workshop, presented by SVR, will provide you with a deeper discussion of these issues, how to identify the behaviors (in your personal, academic and professional lives) and what resources are available. We believe this will benefit you as both a student and in your professional development. Each workshop is 50 minutes and will be offered on two dates: Tuesday, February 21st and Thursday, February 23rd.
